Terms and conditions Freecom photo competition 2012

Entries
• The winning entrants photo will be published on the Freecom homepage
• The Freecom product should be clearly visible in the photo
• The product in the photo must be a current Freecom product. Current Freecom products can be found at www.freecom.com
• Photos showing images of people will not be accepted
• Minimum resolution: 1980 x 1080
• Maximum resolution: smaller then 20Mb & 150dpi
• File formats: JPG, PNG, EPS or TIFF
• Color photos and black and white photos are allowed
• When no personal color profile is selected, files will get a RGB-profile
• All entries must be received by 23:59 am on 31/10/2012. Freecom will not be responsible for the non receipt of any entry
• Entrants must live in an EUMEA conntry
• Entrants must be aged 16 years or over
• Photos should not be older than two years
All photos submitted must be the work of the individual submitting them and must not have been published elsewhere or have won a prize in any other photographic competition
• Positioning the Freecom product should be ideally be done within the first or last 1/3 part of the photo i.e. 1/3 of the left side of the photo or 1/3 of the right side of the photo
Judging
• Entries are judged on creativity and photographic quality. Entries are judged by Freecom management. The decisions of the Judges are final. Correspondence or discussion concerning any decision will not be entered into
• Finalists will receive confirmation via e-mail
• There will be no published correspondence concerning the results. The winners will receive a notification before 15/11/2012
• The winner needs to respond within 7 days of notification by email/telephone to confirm acceptance. If the Winner does not respond to Freecom’s notification within 7 days they will forfeit their right as the winner and Freecom may at its discretion select a replacement Winner.
Extra conditions
• The participant allows Freecom to publish his/her photo(s) for an unlimited period of time on www.freecom.com plus all sub domains, and any social media channels in which Freecom chooses to use to promote information about this competition
• Freecom can delete photos without notification to the owner of the photo
• The entrant allows Freecom to publish his/her photo(s) - free of rights – in print and digital format whether it’s for editorial or advertising purpose
• The entrant owns the exclusive rights of his/her photo(s). If the entrant appears to be someone else other than the photographer, he/she will be excluded from the competition
• Freecom is not responsible for complaints regarding violation of privacy or any other associated damages as a result of creating the photo
• Entries must not be insulting / rude / obscene / offensive / threatening / pornographic
• It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any photos submitted have been taken with the permission of the subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws.
• Entrants must warrant that the photograph they are submitting is their own work and that they own the copyright for it.
• Photos which portray commercial goals for other brands will not be accepted
• The entrant will automatically consent to Freecom saving the entrant’s computer IP-address with each entry. This information is completely confidential
• The entrant will automatically consent to Freecom saving the participant’s cookies
• Employees from Freecom, Verbatim and Mitsubishi Kagaku Media are excluded from this competition
• Prizes are non-refundable
• Entrants automatically accept all terms and conditions as defined above
